...And if that wasn't enough, we're out of firewhisky! [Harry Potter- Marauders' Era]

ooc|| Soo... Marauders' Era, Seventh year. It is January: the students haven't been back at Hogwarts long after Christmas, and they are all looking forward to the upcoming Hogsmeade trip. I will take James for now, and possibly double later if I need to.

The blanket of snow covering the castle and ground seemed to be doubling as a blanket of silence that morning. It being Saturday, most of the students had slept in, and the Gryffindor common room was empty apart from a very few students. Those who were awake were sitting in small groups: chatting quietly or munching on piles of toast. There was however, one lone seventh year boy standing at the common room window. James Potter was staring out over the snow-covered ground, his hazel eyes sparkling with excitement behind his glasses. His black hair, which was normally sticking up all over the place, was dripping wet and plastered against his scalp. He /must/ talk to Sirius about moving that Marauders’ edition Aguamenti charm they had put in the corridor. It was way to close to the kitchens, and he wasn’t a fan of getting caught by his own magical rain.
He turned to face the rest of the common room, leaning casually against the wall. His friends were all still asleep, or at least still in bed, and that was where he really wanted to be right now. But he had been woken up to find himself very hungry, and after being caught by the magical rain on his way to the kitchens on a toast hunt, he had no intentions of going back to bed. Maybe Lily would be down soon, she was usually up before them. Maybe she would talk to him, even if she had turned him down again last night. He sighed and, resigned to boredom until the other Marauders got up, sat in the nearest armchair.
